Hie

HIverb

To hurry or hasten, often used reflexively (i.e., hurrying or hastening oneself). Perhaps the gem of obscure LDS hymn lexicon. Often substituted by “fly” (“flying to Kolob” makes good theoretical sense) or, less frequently, by “hike” (which also works, albeit less intellectually satisfying). To “hie to Kolob,” then, means to journey to Kolob in a hasty manner.
